Whether you're an old&awesome AdMonks Automated Retargeting App user or a brand new cool one, we're most happy to see you using our Messenger app!
Here's a short tutorial on how to make the best of it:
▶ After you successfully install the app and make all the Facebook connections, you'll see a dashboard with 2 different app tabs you can switch between.
If you switch to Facebook Dynamic Ads, you'll see this:
⚠ Please note that if you haven't installed AdMonks Automated Remarketing App yet, you'll have to get it in your Shopify app store to be able to use it.
Switching to Messenger Abandoned Cart lands you here:
▶ What you see in your dashboard are 3 Facebook Message templates that make part of one AdMonks campaign. To start editing just click 👉🏻EDIT:
⚫ EDITING YOUR MESSAGES
You'll see a preview of your first message.
Facebook allows the first 2 messages to be sent up to 24 hours after the product was abandoned in cart, so the timeline of the first and second Message is from 1 - 24 h.
If you don't get any answer to your Messages within 24 hours after the Cart Abandonment took place, you're allowed by Facebook to send just one, last Message - that's our Message#3.
No worries - if your Cart Abandoners answers to your Message#1 or #2 and actually makes the purchase, they won't get #3, as they are no longer Cart Abandoners: they are your Customers that AdMonks recovered! :)
You are free to choose the time, just use the slider:
Facebook allows you to send these Messages
▶ TEXT MESSAGE / OFFER MESSAGE / CTA BUTTON
You're free to edit the text of the messages! You can even spice it up with some emojis, just click the 🙂in the text window:
You can also edit the OFFER MESSAGE and change the copy on the CTA BUTTON.
▶ GENERATING DISCOUNT CODE
To create a discount code, just click on the 👉🏻GENERATE CODE button:
You'll see a window with further settings, enabling you to set the character and value of the discount, as well as the expiry date:
Your currency is automatically taken from your Facebook Ad Account settings. Remember to save the discount!
⚠ Please note that after you create the code, you need to save this code in your Shopify account!
▶ SAVING YOUR SETTINGS
After you're done with editing the settings, click 👉🏻SAVE and you're ready to edit the second and the third message.
▶ CHANGING YOUR SETTINGS
You can change the settings of your Messages anytime - just click 👉🏻EDIT next to the Message you want to change and start editing.
⚫ TURNING YOUR MESSAGES ON & OFF
You can decide whether you want to send 1, 2 or 3 messages. To turn them off, just swipe this switch:
